ANALYSIS OF THE PROGRESS OF INDEPENDENT WORK OF RESIDENTS IN PREPARATION FOR PRIMARY SPECIALIZED ACCREDITATION

Abstract

Improving the training of highly qualified personnel in the residency is an actual direction of the project «Providing healthcare with qualified specialists». An important final stage after completing the residency program is the passage of primary specialized accreditation, which allows graduates to start professional activities in healthcare. Most of the preparation for the procedure of primary specialized accreditation is devoted to independent work. Taking into account the result of the research presented in this article, it becomes obvious that most residents at the beginning of the second year of training under the residency program have already started preparing for primary specialized accreditation on the website https://fmza.ru. The number of attempts and the duration of work of residents with test and case tasks significantly affect the effectiveness of their implementation. According to residents, the leading reasons limiting the possibility of preparing for primary specialized accreditation on the site are the lack of time, work and training, however, it is worth noting that preparation for primary specialized accreditation is an integral part of training in residency and an important aspect in the future for admission to the profession being mastered. This dictates the need to update the work of teachers of departments with residents to clarify priorities in the process of training in residency and personalization of individual trajectories of independent work of residents in preparation for primary specialized accreditation.

LEGAL ASPECTS OF ADMISSION OF RESIDENTS TO CARRY OUT MEDICAL ACTIVITIES AS TRAINEE DOCTORS

Abstract

Issues of strengthening the human resources potential of the industry are one of the most difficult modern problems in Russian healthcare. The adoption of a bill on the introduction of a medical trainee position in medical organizations will allow residents, starting from the second year of clinical residency, to work in their specialty under the guidance of experienced mentor doctors and will have a beneficial effect on eliminating personnel shortages without reducing the quality of medical care. Residents will be able to receive additional practical training, the opportunity to make independent decisions, and additional income, which will help secure them in the profession and reduce the outflow of personnel. It is important to analyze the legal aspects of the admission of residents to carry out medical activities as trainee doctors. Three models for training residents in parallel with their medical activities as trainee doctors in one of the specialties of the enlarged group of specialties «Clinical Medicine» are proposed for consideration. Separate areas, strategic and necessary, are the training of teaching staff and the development of new teaching technologies.
