Regarding the evaluation of level of training of nursing specialists

Abstract

In the article analysis results of the level of development of competencies in the field of therapeutic and diagnostic process and the provision of emergency first aid by students who receive secondary specialized (nursing) education are represented. In addition, the test control results of future nursing specialists on disaster medicine were analyzed. A relatively low level of knowledge of catastrophe medicine service organization theoretical foundations and high preparedness in matters relating to practical skills and abilities for emergency pre-doctor healthcare delivery were revealed. Nursing specialists also carried out a self-assessment of the level of their preparedness in various areas of their activities. An insufficient level of knowledge in the domain of organization, healthcare economics and legal support for nursing has been identified.
