Application of innovated technologies in raising the level of doctor’s skill in system of continuous medical education

Abstract

Following the program of introduction of continuous medical education, based on the educational virtual clinic (EVC) of the Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko preliminary postgraduate emergency medicine courses for doctors of various non-urgent specialties were developed. The training programs are based on principles and methods of contextual education as the most effective in working with an adult contingent. For the improvement of the effectiveness of the educatory process, extraordinary educational tools are being introduced into the programs. EVC staff filmed an artistic musical video which was dedicated to the critical care medicine. In order to clarify the applicability of this work with help of distant communications a survey was conducted. And it gave unexpected results that showed the interest of both medical workers of different specialties and respondents not related to medicine in the promotion of urgent medical activities.
