Abstract

A collaborative study between Kazan State Medical University in Kazan, Russia and Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States, determined that medical education issues are similar across the two countries. While this article describes applications of standardized patient protocols across disciplines in Universities in the United States, the belief of these authors is that the methodology and the issues that arise may be applicable internationally.
