NEW PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR OVERCOMING CRISIS OF CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION AND CHALLENGES FACED BY DOCTORS WORKING IN THE REGIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA
AbstractIn the article experience of the Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) in developing a local program of continuing medical education (CME) for doctors working in the regions of the Republic of Armenia is reviewed. Objectives and results of this project are represented. The program offers advanced knowledge to doctors working in the regions without the need to travel outside the country or burdensome additional costs.Fund for Armenian Relief, continuing medical education programs, doctors in the regions, educational programs for doctors. The CME FAR program is an innovative way to spread knowledge of Armenian doctors upon returning home after participating in educational programs abroad, which helps to solve the problems faced by doctors working in the regions.
