Abstract

In the article influence of various factors on cognitive activity of medical students is discussed. During the study, it was found that cognitive activity of students shows strong and moderate correlation with academic progress and quantitative variables characterizing behavioral stereotypes in relation to health and its objective state, self-assessment of the quality of life. These characteristics, under certain circumstances, can be considered as predictive parameters of medical students' cognitive abilities. In addition, it was found that medical students have a significant level of chronic morbidity and, at the same time, a high selfesteem of health-related quality of life. The respondents assess quality of food as unsatisfactory, assess living conditions at the university as of low quality, but have a positive attitude towards the quality and conditions of the educational process.
