ANALYSIS OF THE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY GRADUATES' ATTITUDE TO INDEPENDENT PRACTICAL ACTIVITY

AbstractHigher medical education in Russia has been undergoing complex changes in recent years. The principles of building the educational process in medical universities, requirements for graduates and format of academic knowledge control are changing. So, since 2016, the primary accreditation of specialists has been introduced into the medical education system, which, in fact, is the last step in assessing the readiness and admission of graduates to independent practical activity. In this regard, we were interested in the student's opinion on changes, their attitude to the educational process, their readiness and motivation to enter the professional community. In this article the results of an anonymous survey of medical school graduates in 2017— 2019 are represented. According to the results, we can conclude how satisfied the graduates are with their education, whether they are ready for independent practical activity, how confident they are in their future, and what changes they themselves would like to make in the educational process.
