The pharmacist – the doctor of clinical laboratory diagnostics: new possibilities

Abstract

The article reports on the expansion of the professional application of pharmacists, namely, the possibility of carrying out their medical activities in the specialty "clinical laboratory diagnostics", which appeared in connection with the appearance of the professional standard "Specialist in clinical laboratory diagnostics". However, some regulatory problems that have arisen with the approval of this professional standard are shown. Proposed ways to overcome these problems, including the introduction of changes in a number of regulatory legal acts that regulate the healthcare system. The article is informative and should be interesting both for the management of medical, pharmaceutical universities and faculties implementing specialty programs in the specialty "pharmacy" and residency programs in the specialty "clinical laboratory diagnostics", for the management of medical organizations, and for the professional pharmaceutical community.
