Innovative approaches to assessing the quality of residency training in anesthesiology and cnitical cane medicine

Abstract

Key educational technologies of clinical residency in anesthesiology and critical care medicine are closely connected with assimilation of knowledges, the acquisition of professional skills and personal qualities of the formation of Residents, specified by the learning objectives. The lecture summarizes the basic scientific knowledge in the disciplines. The seminars focused on the details of this knowledge, development and consolidation of skills of professional activity. We propose to modify the traditional forms of teaching, such as lectures, seminars, workshops in accordance with requirements of modern clinical practice in surgery and critical care. Changing the format of lectures and seminars, analysis of clinical cases, regular testing and rating of the Resident- all these innovations formulate the basic rules of the new technique. Also, an important role is played by the daily filling of the original Diary of Residen'st Activity. The main task of this educational system is to prepare qualified medical specialist who has knowledges and skills that determine the ability and willingness to independent professional activity.
